There are many different treatments available for those living with a bleeding disorder. They work in different ways in your body to help the blood clot. The number and types of treatments available to you depends on which bleeding disorder you have, its severity, your age, and what types of bleeding you need to address. There are some treatments that are currently only available for those ages 18 and older. Visit the Treatment Options section to get details on all the treatments available. You can even find information on some that might become available in the future. It is best to speak with your health care provider to determine what treatment option will work for you.   

Once you know what your treatment options are, it is also important to understand the basics of how to use the treatments. You may have been doing your own treatment for a while now. However, it can be good to have a refresher, especially if you plan to or already are living on your own after high school.
